The Tangled Thread is a labor of love that was born from a desire to change the world. A discussion on the phone between co-founders Don Daniel III and Dawn Aulet about how people tell stories revealed that both had a calling to hear and share stories from people who were often silenced.

With talents between them that married technology and the love of the written word, they realized that a news website was a real possibility. The site was formed and born in less that three months and nearly everyone of their contacts they invited to contribute to the site loved the mission and hopped on board.

To unmute, unravel and understand is to be open to the stories you don't always hear, be ready to see another side that is not familiar and may not be comfortable and to take that experience and add it to your own, growing and changing yourself and the world.
